Cuba Rescue Party Indy

Conga line! Indiana Landmarks hosts Rescue Party: A Night in Cuba on April 28, a fundraiser for our Endangered Places programs. You can help us save cool historic places while enjoying culinary delights—lavish hors d’oeuvres, late-night buffet, dessert bar—paired with Cannon Ball Brewing Company craft beer, a Hotel Tango Artisan Distillery cocktail tasting bar featuring a signature Cuban cocktail, and a cash bar for old-school mixed drinks.

We’ll auction a handful of one-of-a-kind experiences under the gavel of Indiana native Zan Aufderheide (Zan Auctions), a national auctioneer. She’ll also emcee the evening, when we’ll announce the 10 Most Endangered and present the Cook Cup for Outstanding Restoration to New Albany’s Town Clock Church.

Browse the 10 Most exhibit in the gallery, where you can submit your free raffle ticket to win a poster of your house or favorite landmark by the exhibit illustrator Evan Hale and learn how to make and sample a real Cuban daquiri from an award-winning bartender.

After the program, Stacy Sandoval and Orquesta Bravo! will get you moving to the music.

The party, from 6-11 p.m., fills all the beautiful spaces in Indiana Landmarks Center, 1201 Central Avenue in Indianapolis, with Night-in-Cuba décor by Atmospheres Indy. Dress for event: colorful festive attire, tropical flair optional.

Come to Rescue Party for less by choosing the duo discount options available through April 6, 2018: two Friend tickets for $140, plus a single raffle ticket for the pair.

After April 6, the event costs $75 Friend which comes with a raffle ticket, or $125 Patron, accompanied by two raffle tickets. Or bring your posse: you can reserve a private Salón for 10 or 20 people at $150/person ($90/person is tax deductible), with each person getting two raffle tickets.

Reservation deadline is April 20, 2018. Buy your tickets online or call 800-450-4534!

Rescue Party raises money for Indiana Landmarks Endangered Places programs—10 Most Endangered, grants and loans, advocacy and strategy—that help save historic structures in jeopardy and revitalize Hoosier communities.
